Big on Safety

Earlier this year National Grid Electricity Distribution approached us to help them deliver safety culture workshops based around their four key safety principles and to show to their staff just how important everyone’s safety is, how much they are invested in their people and how serious they are about making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of each working day.
Working in close collaboration we’re really proud of the programme that has been developed and know this will have a big impact on making a positive difference to each and every person involved.

Over the last several months the Juice teams have been travelling the length and breadth of the country delivering behavioural safety sessions to the entire National Grid Electricity Distribution workforce. Between them all they’ve reached around 7,000 members of staff across 37 depots nationally.

‘We worked with Juice in 2024/2025 to develop and deliver safety culture sessions, based around our organisational safety principles to over 7000 of our colleagues. What was really admirable, was the Juice team’s research and effort into the organisation and our people, to ensure that the sessions were perfectly suited to organisational needs, and the needs of our colleagues. The team were always very happy to make amends, additions, or alterations to the session plans prior to delivery to make sure that the session was exactly what it needed to be to deliver upon our programme aims. Co-ordinating sessions for over 7,000 colleagues comes with logistical challenges, particularly when working with a remote and dispersed workforce, but this was never too much trouble for the Juice team, and thanks to their organisation and planning, we were successful in our delivery aims of reaching all of our colleagues. The mixed media format of presentation, film, and theatre provided a mix of learning opportunities to suit different learning styles, and colleagues particularly enjoyed the relatability of the delivery team who facilitated conversations in a friendly and approachable manner. My huge thanks go out to the whole team at Juice for their hard work and commitment to delivering a successful and enjoyable session to our colleagues helping to mature and advance our safety culture.’
